History
Alphenyx is a French biotech company founded in 2009 by Dr Jacques L’Hermite, MD and initially involved in cell biology services. In 2014, facing the poor availability of human samples for a new research project, Alphenyx took a decisive turn and started to collect human biological samples in order to provide high-quality testing tools for research. For this purpose, Alphenyx located its activity in the biotech incubator Grand Luminy Technopole (Aix-Marseille University) and a new chief scientist officer, Dr Laetitia Rapetti, PhD was recruited.

In September 2020, Alphenyx moved into its new offices, including 90 m2 of brand-new labs and further developed its tissue acquisition network throughout France to face the COVID crisis.
